Gregory Ugrin is Director and Co-Owner of Illyria Wellness, which provides a spectrum of spa and wellness consulting, spa treatment design, and spa concept creation.
He has 20 years of luxury spa experience as a manager, trainer and therapist, including at the reknowned destination wellness retreat Ananda in the Himalayas.
An expert in therapeutic bodywork and spa rituals, Gregory has had a deep education in wellness and holds multiple certifications for massge therapy, mindful movement, group fitness, and more.
Prior to spa, Gregory had a 15-year career in dance and choreography, which informs his perspectives on wellness.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
Originally from Texas, and a dual citizen of Hungary and the United States, Gregory is currently working on multiple spa development projects in the Adriatic region.
Co-Owner of Illyria Wellness, Liz is passionate about the potential for historically-informed traditional wellbeing models to dovetail with modern advancements in the science of health, longevity and happiness.
A historican by education, she specializes in creating historically-informed spa and wellness concepts that artfully integrate both known and forgotten or little known elements of a location.
Liz is a veteran marketing consultant and executive with over 18 years of leadership experience, primarily in small and medium enterprises.
She also has expertise in decision science, shopper marketing, neuromarketing, and price engineering, writing menus and offers optimized to allow the consumer to discover their ideal price point and service choice in harmony with their budget, aspirations, and needs — all while maximizing revenue yield for the operation. The result for consumers is a healthy and fun “retail therapy” that encourages guests to enjoy choosing peak experiences, within their means. Ultimately the guest upsells themselves in ways that meet emotional, mental and spiritual needs for self-care, connection, and contribution.
Originally from Alaska, Liz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Honors College at University of Houston, summa cum laude. She has studied International Commerce at George Mason University and immersed in Hungarian Studies at the University of Szeged.
