Liz Ugrin

Co-Owner of Illyria Wellness, Liz is passionate about the potential for historically-informed traditional wellbeing models to dovetail with modern advancements in the science of health, longevity and happiness.

A historican by education, she specializes in creating historically-informed spa and wellness concepts that artfully integrate both known and forgotten or little known elements of a location.

Liz is a marketing consultant and executive with over 18 years of leadership experience, primarily in small and medium enterprises.

She also has expertise in decision science, shopper marketing, neuromarketing, and price engineering, writing menus and offers optimized to allow the consumer to discover their ideal price point and service choice in harmony with their budget, aspirations, and needs — all while maximizing revenue yield for the operation. Ultimately the guest upsells themselves in ways that meet emotional, mental and spiritual needs for self-care, connection, and contribution.
